The three-door Alfa Romeo 145 golf-class hatchback, which replaced the Alfa Romeo 33, made its debut in 1994. A year later, a sedan version of the car appeared, which received an index of 146.

 

The car was equipped with boxer four-cylinder engines of 1.4, 1.6 and 1.7 liters (90–129 hp), as well as a 1.9-liter turbodiesel (90–105 hp).

 

In 1996, Alfa Romeo 145 received a new two-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 155 hp., and the “opposition” were replaced by in-line engines of the TwinSpark 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8 series with a capacity of 103, 120 and 144 hp. respectively. In 2001, this model was replaced by the Alfa Romeo 147.
