Toyota Tundra History

Some TOYOTA TUNDRA Wiring Diagrams are above the page.

The Toyota Tundra pickup, introduced in 1999, was aimed exclusively at the US market and had to compete with traditional American bestsellers in this class, most notably the Ford F-150. A car produced at a factory in Indiana was in steady demand: more than 100 thousand cars were sold annually.

Initially, Toyota Tundra was equipped with engines 3.4 V6 (190 hp) and 4.7 V8 with a capacity of 245 hp. In 2005, the "younger" was replaced by a four-liter engine (236 hp), and the "eight" became more powerful - 271 or 282 hp. The gearbox could be mechanical or automatic.

Toyota Tundra is a huge pickup truck for the American market, manufactured in the USA since 2007.

The car has versions with a single, one and a half and a double cab. The 4.0 V6 engine (236 hp) is installed on the basic version, more powerful options are equipped with V8 engines of 4.6 and 5.7 liters (310 and 381 hp, respectively). The gearbox is automatic only.
