Acura EL is a sedan manufactured from 1995 to 2005. It ranks in the lineup between the RSX sports coupe and the executive Acura TL sedan. Acura EL was created for the Canadian market based on the Honda Civic VI generation.

The second-generation Acura EL appeared in 2001 and was designed on the seventh generation Honda Civic platform. The car was equipped with a 1.7-liter engine with a variable valve timing system VTEC with 127 hp.

Also, designers increased the interior of the second generation of the model and increased passive safety. The car was manufactured at a factory in Ontario.

In 2006, he was replaced by the Acura CSX model.
