Volvo VN History
In 1997, Volvo launched the new Volvo VN truck tractor series. So there was a Volvo VNL tractor and its twin VNM. The cars are assembled on the basis of previous developments of the Volvo branch in the USA and the proven wheelbase FH12. The attempt to integrate European standards into American designs led to success, and VN tractors are still one of the most recognizable cars in North American truckers.
The machines of the VN series were intended for towing loads of 36-57 tons. The maximum speed is 103 km / h. The year of birth of the Volvo VNL can be considered the 1997th year, but initially the cars were delivered exclusively to the markets of Canada and the USA.
