Introduced in 1991, the front-wheel-drive sedan Infiniti G20, became the most affordable car in the Infiniti model range, which at that time was present only in the US market.

The car was analogous to the European version of the first-generation Nissan Primera sedan and was manufactured at a factory in Oppama, Japan.

The only proposed engine for the car - a two-liter gasoline unit capacity of 140 hp, gearbox - five-speed manual or four-stage "automatic".
