From 1991 to 1994, a rather large front-wheel drive sedan Acura Vigor was sold on the North American market, which in fact was a left-hand drive variation on the inside of the Japanese model Honda Inspire / Vigor.

The car was equipped with a 2.5-liter 5-cylinder in-line engine with 176 hp. paired with a 4-band "automatic". The 4.8-meter Vigor occupied a niche between compact Integra and executive Legend.

The car was distinguished by excellent handling, but it did not gain popularity among buyers.
