The full-size Toyota Avalon sedan is designed primarily for the US market. Also, the car is sold in South Korea and some countries in the Middle East. The fourth generation of Avalon has been produced since 2012 in the USA; in 2015, the model was restyled.

The five-meter sedan is created on a common platform with the Camry model. It is equipped with a V6 3.5 engine (268 hp) paired with a six-speed “automatic”, as well as a 200-horsepower hybrid power plant consisting of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electromechanical variator.
