The Passat B5 is a popular 4-door sedan and less massive 5-door station wagon.

Their bodies are galvanized and generally have no problems with corrosion, except for the only place in the versions with a sedan (see photo).

After 4 years from the moment of debut, the model has undergone modernization (in 2000). Despite the general similarity, many B5 GP body parts are completely original. At the same time, the new version looks much richer and more solid, emphasizing the higher prestige of the model.
